About Me
My name is Nick Cafiero, I'm a marketing professional with 10+ years of agency-side experience. I’ve held roles in digital planning and buying, business development, account management, and, most recently, global planning and strategy. This has given me the experience to be able to work across multiple client categories in very complex international markets, targeting many different audiences. I’m analytically minded with a love for creativity and strategy. I have an insatiable desire for learning and a passion for marketing and advertising.
I live on Long Island with my wife Lindsay, and daughters Nina and Siena. Working and caring for 2 toddlers through a global pandemic has presented its challenges, there's certainly never a dull moment, but I wouldn't trade it for the world!
I completed undergraduate studies at Penn State where I majored in marketing. In 2019 I graduated from the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College where I received an MBA.
I'm an avid all-around sports fan, but college football is my favorite (let's go Penn State!). I enjoy the outdoors, going for walks in the local preserve, and fishing.

Media Strategy & Planning
Throughout my career, I've planned, purchased and executed over $2 billion in media across hundreds of campaigns in over 25 countries. I've led teams through the end to end media planning process from strategy through tactical execution to deliver against a range of client objectives.
Account Management & Operations
My bread and butter is top-notch account and project management. I'm highly adept and building processes, finding efficiencies and operationalizing ways of working. I've grown accustomed to overseeing the output of remote teams in different time zones with fluidity, and have exceptional time management skills.
International Know-how
I've spent more than half my career dealing in international media. Through this, I've developed an extensive working knowledge of major international media market landscapes and cultures. I'm a member of the International Advertising Associations Young Professionals which keeps me connected with the international media and marketing community.

What I’ve Accomplished

Custom Global Content Partnership
I was responsible for leading the development of a custom global content partnership between Brand USA and Spotify from ideation to execution. The program provided a platform for Brand USA's “Hear the Music, Experience the USA” campaign to experience the country through its musical styles via 22 customized US city soundscape playlists.
From New Business Win To
Account Service
I contributed to the winning pitch for the American Airlines business, unseating a 25-year incumbent relationship. After the win, I was tapped to manage the global transition and onboarding of the account, quickly achieving 'platinum' status from all the international travel. I went on the oversee the global media strategy and execution of the global brand relaunch, and subsequently the on-going media activity and client relationship.


'The Force' Super Bowl Game Changer
Early in my career, I was fortunate to be involved in the execution of an idea that would forever change how brands approach Super Bowl advertising. The early reveal of a Super Bowl spot was unheard of at the time. This experience taught me to be bold and to never accept "that's the way we've always done it" mindset.
